1. • The SSA allows exemption from double contribution to the social security system in both jurisdictions, exportability of accumulated social security benefits across jurisdictions (applicable even to the self-employed), and totalization of serving periods.

यह एसएसए दोनों देशों के अधिकार क्षेत्रों में सामाजिक सुरक्षा के दोहरे अंशदान से छूट, अधिकार क्षेत्र से संचित सामाजिक सुरक्षा के लाभों को बाहर भेजने (स्वरोजगार पर भी लागू) और सेवाकालीन अवधियों को एकत्रित करने से छूट की अनुमति देता है।

2. • Aggregating the contribution periods (in two countries) to prevent loss of benefits (Totalization): An SSA allows aggregating residency periods of social security contribution made by the Indian worker / professional in India and the foreign country to qualify for retirement benefits.

• हितलाभ की हानि रोकने के लिए अंशदान अवधि (दो देशों में) का राशिकरणः सामाजिक सुरक्षा समझौता संपन्न् हो जाने से भारतीय कामगार/व्यावसायिक को भारत तथा बाहर के किसी देश में किए गए सामाजिक सुरक्षा अंशदान से संबद्ध रेजिडेन्सी अवधि का राशिकरण करने की अनुमति मिल जाती है और वे सेवानिवृत्ति हितलाभों के लिए अर्हता प्राप्त कर लेते हैं।

ग) अंशदान अवधि (दोनों देशों में) कुल लाभ की हानि (संपूर्ण हानि) को रोकने के लिए: एसएसए भारतीय कार्यकर्ताओं/पेशेवरों को भारत में और विदेशों में सामाजिक सुरक्षा योगदान में दिए गये कुल समय को सेवानिवृत्ति लाभों के लिए अर्हता प्राप्त करने के लिए अनुमति देता है।

4. * Bilateral social security agreements protect the interests of professionals, skilled workers working abroad by helping them avoid making double social security contributions; enable easy remittance of benefits (exportability); and aggregate the contribution periods (in two countries) to prevent loss of benefits (totalization).

* द्विपक्षीय सामाजिक सुरक्षा समझौता डबल सामाजिक सुरक्षा योगदान करने से बचने के द्वारा विदेशों में काम कर रहे कुशल श्रमिकों और पेशेवरों के हितों की रक्षा करता है; लाभ के लिए आसान प्रेषण को सक्षम बनाता है (exportability) और लाभ (Totalization) के नुकसान को रोकने के लिए योगदान अवधि का (दो देशों में) जोड़ करता है।
